I've been in an art block since December 2022. This was my first piece of 2023 (April). I bought watercolour paints for the first time to try and break the block by trying a different medium. It took me a while to create this. I picked away at it. I wanted to keep this piece light and bright despite the fact that the final hours working on it stemmed from emotional pain. It's strange how pain can breed creativity.
