Octopuses are known for their intelligence as well as their amazing camouflage techniques. They can literally change the colour and texture of their skin to mask themselves from predators. My octopus on the other hand was born to stand out. This drawing represents those who hide invisible disabilities because they are afraid that society might judge them. In whole it represents a need to face our internal fear of judgment, so that we can see each other for who we are, and not what we disguise ourselves to be.
