'On Golden Wings' is a metaphor for the concept of beauty we carry in Western society. While most insects are stepped on, screeched at, and squashed, the butterfly is revered for being beautiful. In our society, we often see each other for our exteriors. I drew this picture to question our concepts of beauty, because after all, the butterfly is just another insect.
