This piece was based on a photograph taken by Katya de Lancie in Beacon Hill Park, Victoria, BC, Canada. Similar to 'At Peace', 'Symbiosis was done in watercolour pencils and a water soluble ink pen - meaning that when the ink gets wet it bleeds into to colour, appearing more like paint.
