This particular drawing represents fear, as similar to certain mental illnesses lions are perceived as dangerous. Although lions kill for food or to protect their young or pride, mental illness is often equally portrayed in the media as a danger or threat to society. I chose to illustrate the lions in a different manner than their perceived to be vicious nature to show a different side of both the lion & lioness and mental health.
