A Blessing for Romantic Clarity (Poetry)

Powers of the stars and sky—

Powers of the earth;

I conjure thee

to banish he

from my heart and mind.

Should our paths cross again

may my sight be fully clear.

May I see him for who he really is,

not who my heart holds dear.
