Love Poem

Longing

and obstacles.

Love is the dew drops,

cold water melting into steam on warm leaves.

Beads of perspiration

pilling where the midnight stars

meet their death at the dawn.

Some say that love is cliché,

but some are fools.

Love feeding the earth with a single drop

of sudor

from her veiled desires,

so that the spiders may drink

and weave their webs

so that when you open your tired eyes

the world will gleam for you.
